A Consumer Travel Team Leader is responsible for leading the virtual Work-At-Home (WAH) Travel Counselors in our Philadelphia, PA Market, providing travel services for our Cardmembers. Coaching and developing employees and making business decisions utilizing customer-focused principals is a primary responsibility. The Team Leader is expected to drive results through performance reporting and employee, customer and shareholder satisfaction feedback, effectively communicating results to motivate and retain employees. This position requires the ability to be highly productive in a self directed work environment which fosters open communication.
Our Work At Home Team Leader must have a passion to for travel and superior customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-Minimum of 3 years travel counselor experience and 2 years experience leading/managing employees
-In depth experience and knowledge of leisure travel planning
-Airline Reservations experience required, Sabre experience preferred.
-Consistently demonstrates self motivation, initiative, flexibility, and composure
-Excellent coaching and developing skills with a strong ability to motivate employees in a virtual environment
-Strong analytical/problem-solving skills in conjunction with excellent organizational and prioritizing skills
-Ability to be highly productive a self directed fast paced work environment
-Commitment to diversity initiatives and a basic understanding of business financial reporting
-Fosters openness & consistency in communication with the ability to achieve business goals and objectives as required
-Ability to travel
-Knowledge of our policies and procedures and a working knowledge of the Leadership Model is preferred
Candidates must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am ? 2:00am ET, Monday ? Sunday (7 days / week). Hours of operation may change due to business need.

ACCESS TO YOUR HOME/WORK SPACE:
- You will provide our representatives access to your home to conduct an audit of your work space for WAH compliance standards through the year.
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT:
- All electrical equipment is free of recognized hazards that would cause physical harm (frayed wires, bare conductors, loose wires, flexible wires running through walls, exposed wires to the ceiling).
- Your home?s electrical system will permit the grounding of electrical equipment. Use 3 wire circuit analyzer provided to test all outlets that will be used for the home office.
- You have property and casualty insurance on the home. If not, you will be asked to provide the name of the party that maintains insurance.
WORK AREA:
- Minimum electrical requirements: Two 15-amp electrical, 110 volts, three prong duplex outlets (a total of four outlets) on their own circuit breaker.
- Adequate room for a home office. You will need to provide specific details including size and location of room.
COMPUTER WORKSTATION:
- We will install high speed internet and phone service in the homes of virtual employees. Applicants homes must be compatible to work in conjunction with our Technological Processes. (Cable Broadband Services or DSL REQUIRED- wireless or satellite services do not meet Amex specifications therefore not eligible)
