An unrivalled line-up of international sustainable construction experts will join more than 250 delegates at the inaugural Ecobuild China Conference: Transforming Low Carbon Construction Into Reality, from Tuesday 10 – Wednesday 11 April 2012, in Shanghai, China. The two-day conference will take place alongside the launch of Ecobuild – the world?s largest exhibition dedicated to the future of sustainable building, design, construction and the built environment – in China.
Developed in partnership with Shanghai Green Building Council (SHGBC) and Shanghai Research Institute of Building Science (SRIBS), the conference is set to provide a gateway into the Southeast Asian market for sustainable construction. Covering the most important issues prevalent in China today, the conference programme has been tailored to address building standards; future trends; investment and development opportunities in the region and has received the support and endorsement from some of the leading associations in the built environment industry including: the UK?s Building Research Establishment (BRE), Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), Construction Products Association (CPA), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).
The conference will play host to experts from a cross-section of the industry and Chinese government departments including Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development of the People?s Republic of China (MOHURD), SRIBS and BRE; offering delegates an unparalleled opportunity to network, impart best practice and debate with the most respected leaders in the field.
The must-attend conference is designed for anyone currently working in, or aiming to expand in China; to meet the note players and to understand what will be expected in sustainable building in forthcoming years.
