NCAA Football 13 predicts Purdue?s season, Part 3

The last two seasons, I?ve enlisted an expert in the EA Sports game NCAA Football to play Purdue?s season in an effort to predict the record.

In 2010, the popular video game said the Boilermakers would finish 4-8. They finished 4-8. In 2011, one simulation predicted Purdue would post a 5-7 record. Coach Danny Hope?s team was 6-6 in the regular season and won the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.

This year, we ran the simulation again but with a twist. Since Hope plans on playing multiple quarterbacks, we decided to play separate seasons featuring Caleb TerBush, Robert Marve and Rob Henry.

Earlier this week, the?game?was played with TerBush at quarterback and Marve at quarterback.

Up next, Henry?s season. Remember you could run the simulation 100 times and produced 100 different results. This was one attempt.

Purdue?s season under Henry, as predicted by NCAA Football 13:

? Purdue 45, Eastern Kentucky 0

? Notre Dame 44, Purdue 14

? Purdue 38, Eastern Michigan 20

? Marshall 28, Purdue 14

? Michigan 38, Purdue 18

? Wisconsin 49, Purdue 24

? Ohio State 45, Purdue 17

? Purdue 23, Purdue 12

? Penn State 20, Purdue 17

? Purdue 19, Iowa 15

? Illinois 31, Purdue 23

? Purdue 45, Indiana 7

Regular season: 5-7, 3-5 Big Ten

Season notes: Henry threw for nearly 2,300 yards but only nine touchdowns and 15 interceptions. The surprising stat was Henry rushed for only 642 yards and five touchdowns. ? The video game simulation clearly likes TerBush at quarterback and not ?Marve and Henry.
